Introducing three remarkable jewellery pieces, H. Moser & Cie. has given birth to the epitome of craftmanship, rare gemstones and watchmaking expertise. Reinterpreting its famous signature fumé dials in the most poetic and precious way, the manufacture has selected the purest stones according to their colour nuances, in a combination with high-end watchmaking Tourbillon mechanism. Jewellery models with roots in horological tradition, the Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Emeralds, the Streamliner Tourbillon Emeralds and the Streamliner Tourbillon Sapphires marry the fundamentals of minimalism and contemporary elegance, while adding a dash of opulence.
At the pinnacle of watchmaking, craftsmanship is not just a skill; it’s an art form. These limited-edition timepieces are the result of countless hours of meticulous work by master watchmakers and gemsetters. The watches feature intricately designed cases and dials that not only showcase the rare gemstones but also push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of fine watchmaking. Each piece is a masterpiece, the embodiment of timeless elegance and a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection.
Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillion Emeralds
A perfect combination of the jeweller’s art and watchmaking expertise, the Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Emeralds highlights one of the most traditional watch complications and combines it with a flying tourbillon in a twirling ballet. H. Moser & Cie. showcases the beauty of the minute repeater mechanism, which can be admired on the dial side, giving the opportunity to watch the choreography of the hammers and chimes on a stunning dial fully paved with baguette-cut emeralds. Radiating from the centre in a glorious sunburst effect, a total of 93 precious emeralds set using the invisible technique highlight this exceptional timepiece.
A huge amount of work has gone into the 40 mm diameter titanium case to optimise the sound and achieve the perfect balance between volume, resonance and harmony. The case middle has been widened to the maximum in order to accommodate the movement while allowing enough space to create a soundbox. This amplifies the chiming of hours, quarter-hours and minutes by two gongs, onto which fall two hammers that are raised based on information provided by different feeler-spindles. And because elegance is an essential element for H. Moser & Cie., the Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Emeralds has been designed to retain classic, perfectly balanced dimensions and proportions.
At six o’clock, the one-minute flying tourbillon is visible behind a skeletonised bridge. A marvel of ingenuity, the hand-wound HMC 904 calibre is the driving force behind this unique creation.
Streamliner Tourbillion Sapphires & Streamliner Tourbillion Emeralds
The Streamliner Tourbillon Sapphires and the Streamliner Tourbillon Emeralds both distil the essence of the tourbillon while underscoring its beauty. Sixty sparkling baguette-cut diamonds adorn the 18-carat white gold case middle while sapphires or emeralds bathe these models in a halo of light. Set in a closed invisible setting, the gemstones are carefully positioned in a gradient of tones to reproduce the fumé effect typical of the Moser dials.
At 6 o’clock, the one-minute flying tourbillon animates these unique timepieces, driven by the automatic HMC 804 calibre equipped with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company Precision Engineering AG. Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected and the effect of friction reduced, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection.
A fusion of technology and opulence, these three jewellery pieces are a connoisseur’s dream.
