New Colours for Piaget Altiplano 60th Anniversary
Piaget Altiplano 60th Anniversary
2017 marks the 60th Anniversary of the iconic model, Piaget Altiplano timepiece. In celebration of this timepiece, Piaget introduces for the first time a tourbillon – the noblest of watch complications – that lights up the watches with radiating colours. The new collection boasts the utmost elegance which inspires a lifestyle based on essential values.
In 1957, Valentin Piaget revolutionized the watchmaking industry with the first version of the ultra-thin 9P manual/winding movement introduced at Basel World. Not resting on the success of this first version, the founder’s grandson continues to impress with a thinner self-winding movement. The manufacture takes a decisive direction by introducing these ultra-thin movements for both women and men models. Piaget has since become the reference and specialist of ultra-thin horology and demonstrated its taste for making bold moves.
Piaget Altiplano 60th Anniversary is illuminated by 6 different colours of straps and graded-shade dials. The models are also available in different gold colour – from silver to pink gold. Furthermore, some pieces feature a diamond-set bezel, but you may have the choice of the simplicity of an elegant gold case. This new ultra-thin timepiece has the assets of being versatile – fit for both her and him – which encompasses the finest work of horology craftsmanship.
