OMEGA Enhances Its Seamaster Aqua Terra with A New Small Seconds

The dials of the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra models are treated to a fresh new upgrade – a Small Seconds sub-dial.

Omega has lifted the veil on some of the new additions to the Aqua Terra series. Retaining most of its signature look and feel, the Swiss watchmaker are introducing one new standout feature for the first time ever – a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. A versatile timepiece that exudes both a casual-chic and adventurous style, consumers will have a plethora of options to choose from as the new configuration is executed across a large range of colours and designs.

Available in either 38mm or 41mm case sizes, the new collection consists of ten 38mm models, two of which are luxury editions, as well as nine new 41mm models, and four of which are luxury editions. The most outstanding part of it all, is of course the brand new sub-dial that is encircled by 18k Sedna™ gold and some even set with diamonds. The timepiece is completed with either sport matching bracelets or charming leather straps.

From stainless steel to 18k Sedna™ gold, the Aqua Terra is ideal for sporty events as well as for occasions that call for a luxurious dress watch. Powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8802, the fancy new dials are clad in dark green, light green, linen and extra white mother-of-pearl.

The sun-brushed dark green dial and date window at 6H complements the 18k white gold sub-dial ring seamlessly.

Resting gracefully on the wrist, the 38mm timepiece is scratch-resistant with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

While for those that prefer luxurious watches that are on the higher-end spectrum, there are also two 18k Sedna™ gold models with diamond-set bezels. Both of which are driven by the exquisite Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8803 with 18K Sedna™ gold rotor and balance-bridge.

As for the larger range, it features stainless steel editions as well as one that blends stainless steel and Sedna™ gold. All of which presents itself in a stunning dual-tone dial in blue-grey, silvery-blue, and silvery-beige, the colour contrast is not only striking against the display but it also enhances the overall visual package with the new sub-dials.

In this 41mm model, the brushed silvery-blue dial is distinguished by a refined horizontal “teak” pattern.

Fans of the radiant gold exterior would also be happy to hear that there are four models decked in full 18k Sedna™ gold gear, perfect for those that are fond of the full golden treatment.

This sun-brushed blue-grey dial is further elevated with gold hands, gold indexes and a polished bracelet.
