Vanguard Rose Skeleton Black Diamonds
A rose can be sweet or seductive. In the hands of Franck Muller, the ultimate symbol of romance is transformed into an exquisite object of desire. A skeletonised dial with artful rose motifs takes center stage on the Vanguard Rose Skeleton Black Diamonds. Here, Franck Muller’s craftsmen carefully remove all excess metal from the watch’s hand-wound movement, leaving behind beautifully sculpted and finished bridges that bare the mechanism’s innerworkings.
The skeletonised bridges are treated in black PVD, and enlivened with hand-painted enamel varnish and brilliant-cut diamonds to depict the look of roses on vines. Exclusive to Southeast-Asia, the watch comes in a sensually curved tonneau-shaped white gold case, which is sheathed in black PVD and set with 422 brilliant-cut black diamonds. And there’s more. You can choose from an assortment of rose motifs in different colours, accompanied by matching straps in white, red, pink, or lime green.
Tonda PF Automatic Steel Warm Grey
Do not be deceived by this watch’s unassuming disposition. A classy office-appropriate watch for daily wear, it is a wrist companion that reveals its myriad aesthetic and technical nuances upon close inspection.
Brimming with quiet power, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Automatic Steel Warm Grey is clad in an elegant 36mm case. Complemented with an integrated three-link bracelet, the watch’s attention to detail becomes apparent the moment you wear it. The bracelet’s tapered profile and suppleness wraps the wrist in snug comfort. Meantime, the polished side links and brushed middle links demonstrate refinement in finishing. Decorated with hand-engraved Grain d’Orge guilloche pattern, the dial expresses a different look every time it catches the light from a different angle. Belying the watch’s austere sophistication is a powerful automatic movement. Created exclusively for this model, it is sized to fit the case, while not compromising on performance with 60-hour power reserve.
Defy Midnight Sunset and Defy Midnight Borealis
What is your favourite time of the day? Is it the golden hour when the sun melts into a sea of molten orange? Or is it in the dark of night when the sky turns into a perfect canvas for the aurora borealis? Either way, these two breathtaking phenomena are beautifully captured on the Zenith Defy Midnight Sunset and Defy Midnight Borealis.
Both models are housed in 36mm steel cases and feature 1970s-inspired tonneau-shaped silhouettes. Framed by 44 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, the dial brandishes a choice of gradated blue-to-green tones, or red-to-yellow hues, which depict the northern lights and sunsets, respectively. Driven by Zenith’s in-house Elite 670 automatic movement with 50-hour power reserve, the watches are equipped with the brand’s propriety quick strap exchange mechanism. This allows the user to easily swap the stainless steel bracelet for the additional leather, textile or rubber straps provided to suit any occasion.
The Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori is designed for women who do not shy away from ostentation. A watch that bears incredible lineage, the Serpenti Seduttori traces its roots back to 1948. That year, Bvlgari premiered its first Serpenti model, a gold watch that recalls a snake with its flexible bracelet wrapping around the wrist.
Although the Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori eschews its predecessor’s wraparound bracelet for a link bracelet, the new model stays on-theme with its serpentine aesthetic and innovative construction. Anchored by a snake-shaped case flanked by brilliant-cut diamonds on the sides, the watch is paired with an incredibly supple bracelet. Comprising multiple elongated octagonal links that evoke scales on a snake, the bracelet drapes over the wrist like second skin. A statement watch that takes you from day to night, the Serpenti Seduttori is powered by a quartz movement, and is available in three versions: stainless steel, black PVD-treated stainless steel and bi-metal steel and rose gold.
Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Co-Axial Master Chronometer Ladies’ 38mm
For a watch that performs as ably in a high-pressured boardroom as it does onboard a speedboat to your next diving expedition, look no further than Omega’s Seamaster Aqua Terra.
An automatic watch that is built for performance and versatility, this model is encased in steel with a bezel crafted from Sedna gold – Omega’s proprietary gold alloy that is resistant to fading of colour and lustre. The case is sized at 38mm, which suits slender wrists while ensuring sportive presence. Its luxurious bi-metal case, lovely agate grey dial with wave motif, and beautiful taupe-brown alligator strap suggest dressy sophistication. In truth, this timepiece is as robust and reliable as they come. Water-resistant to 150m, this Aqua Terra model is a certified Master Chronometer.
