The L.U.C Grand Strike is rooted in nearly 20 years of sonnerie<\/em> expertise at Chopard Manufacture \u2013 and 10 years of sapphire monobloc technology \u2013 comprising 686 movement components in the most complex watch created in the history of the Manufacture. Over 11,000 hours were invested in this project, from the very first exploratory studies to the creation of technical plans and the production of a working prototype.
