This watch inherits the traditional style of the 9S mechanical series while introducing a new dial expression. Inspired by an \u201cicefall\u201d one might encounter on Mt. Iwate, the peak visible from the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, during harsh winter months, the dial captures a striking natural spectacle. An icefall occurs when flowing water gradually freezes in sub-zero temperatures. This enchanting scene is expressed through the ice-blue colored dial, which features a pattern balancing dynamism and delicacy. The movement is the Caliber 9S85, a high-frequency mechanical movement vibrating at 10 beats per second within a compact 37mm case.
