For the second chapter of our highlights from the LVMH Watch Week Singapore Edition, we bring you our favourites from TAG Heuer.

Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph Titanium

Following the success of TAG Heuer’s first solar-powered watch – the Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, the new 2023 iteration now comes in Titanium, offering superior lightness, comfort, robustness and durability, in addition to being a great companion to even the most demanding outdoor adventures. The entire case and bracelet, made of grade 2 titanium, has also been given a sandblasted finish, adding to the utilitarian aesthetic of this uber sleek tool watch.

Though barely noticeable at first glance, the Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph has a translucent dial that allows light to filter through to charge up solar cells beneath. The watch can be charged up by either direct artificial or sunlight: just 2 minutes of exposure is enough to power up the watch for a whole day, and just less than 20 hours under the sun for the power reserve to reach its full capacity, which enables the watch to run for 6 months without exposure to any light. And if the watch ever stops, all it takes to get it ticking again is all but 10 seconds under any light source. This remarkable timepiece is orchestrated by the Calibre TH50-00, developed and manufactured exclusively for the brand by renowned Swiss movement maker, La Joux-Perret. Its 200m water resistance properties are also infallible, thanks to the screw-down caseback and crown. The 40mm diameter also wears well on both larger and slimmer wrists.

Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition Cbk221h.fc8317 At Cortina Watch

Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition

One of the most famous chronographs on the market, TAG Heuer’s Carrera celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Launched in 1963, this iconic timepiece pays homage to the Carrera Panamericana, one of the most legendary yet also extremely dangerous rally racing events in history. The very first Carrera was designed by Jack Heuer, with the intention of designing a sleek, uncluttered, and functional racing chronograph that offers reliability and superb legibility. Over the years it has remained very popular among racers who prefer a classic and elegant tool watch.

For the Carrera’s 60th birthday, TAG Heuer revisited one of the most coveted vintage editions, the 2447 SN of the late 1960s. The 60th anniversary edition of the Carrera remained faithful to the 2447 SN by featuring its highly recognisable “panda dial”, stripes on the indexes, hour and minute hands, in addition to double dots at the 12 o’clock position. This latest rendition, however, has a diameter of 39mm, 3mm larger than its predecessor. It is also powered by the Calibre Heuer 2 Automatic, TAG Heuer’s current flagship column-wheel movement that offers 80 hours of power reserve. Only 600 pieces are available worldwide.

Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 42 Mm Golf Edition Sbr8080.eb0284 At Cortina Watch

Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition

Back in 2015, TAG Heuer was one of the first luxury watch brands to venture into the realm of smart watches. It has since amassed a group of loyal fans, and the TAG Heuer Connected has also become one of the most successful luxury smart watch collections on the market. This year, one of the major tweaks done to the Connected collection, would be the introduction of 2 models with a smaller case diameter of 42mm (3mm lesser than the cases on earlier models) – the Calibre E4 42mm Golf Edition, and the Black Titanium Calibre E4.

With the TAG Heuer Connected supposedly very popular within the golfing community, it is no wonder that the brand has chosen to dedicate a special edition smart watch to the sport. And what is worth mentioning, is that this latest Calibre E4 42mm Golf Edition, is a game changer. This new 42mm titanium version, smaller than its predecessor, is the lightest Connected watch ever made by TAG Heuer. It features new algorithms that will completely transform one’s golfing experience, regardless of the player’s level. Besides a redesigned interface that simplifies the controlling of golf-related functions, and is able to track shots automatically from the tee to the green, the shots can also be linked to a specific club, and enable the monitoring of one’s performance. In addition, it also features unique additions such as 2D maps showing hazards and distances on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world. The updated, more elegant design of the watch is also an added bonus which will appeal to both men and women.
