Watches and Wonders 2026: TUDOR New Releases - Cortina Watch Malaysia

TUDOR ROYAL

The TUDOR Royal is a brand classic, both sporty and elegant. With its integrated metal bracelet, signature bezel and Manufacture Calibres, it’s the epitome of versatile sport-chic. Now, TUDOR is introducing a range of new modern colours and sizes, all boasting a brand-new aesthetic that’s refined and sharp.

The Royal is longstanding TUDOR model with an air of elegance that’s been iterated on for decades. Now the model is getting Manufacture Calibres in addition to a range of exciting new dial colours in both the stainless steel and the S&G configurations. Royal was a name first used by TUDOR in the 1950s to emphasise the superior quality and exquisite designs of its watches, which stand until today. Now, the Royal range just got even more magnificent with a host of new dial colours in three brand-new sizes: 30mm, 36mm and 40mm. Now, there’s a Royal for every wrist. The bezel has been redesigned with razor-sharp polished notches that elevate the overall look and feel of the case, and on the 40mm version, there’s a Day complication. The end links and lugs have also been redesigned as to not allow the links to touch the case, preventing abrasion.

TUDOR ROYAL IS "BORN TO DARE"

Since its founding in 1926, TUDOR has endeavoured to produce the best possible watches at the best possible price. This mission, bold then as it is now, is inspired by the vision of the brand’s founder Hans Wilsdorf. The inventor of several cornerstones of modern fine watchmaking – wristwatch precision, waterproofness and the self-winding mechanism – Wilsdorf dreamed of devising a watch that was technically perfect while remaining affordable, and so created the TUDOR brand to bring his dream alive. The TUDOR Royal range forms part of this uncompromising heritage, promising its future owner no less than the best possible quality at the best possible price. Made in Switzerland from a block of one of the most robust stainless steels in existence, 316L steel, the case of the TUDOR Royal models is waterproof in all circumstances and to 100m (330 ft) below sea level thanks to its screw-down crown and case back. The movement – a high-performance Manufacture Calibre developed and manufactured by TUDOR – is adjusted to one of the most demanding chronometry standards in the watchmaking industry. Finally, the smooth and seamless five-link metal bracelet with a “T-fit” clasp stands out thanks to the quality of its feel, design, manufacturing and finish. All these things and more come together to produce the famous TUDOR quality, a philosophy summarised by the brand’s signature, “Born To Dare” – always striving to do better.

The TUDOR Royal range is the ultimate in balance, elegance and versatility. With its integrated metal bracelet ensuring an uninterrupted line with the case, TUDOR Royal embodies fluidity and unmistakable style. Characterised by its three wide satin-brushed links set between two slimmer polished elements, the smooth quality of its surfaces and edges, as well as the presence of the “T-fit” clasp, emphasise the importance that TUDOR places on ensuring its comfort on the wrist. Available in stainless steel or with alternating links in stainless steel and yellow gold, the meticulous finishes of the models in this range cater to every taste.

MANUFACTURE CALIBRES NOW POWERING THE ROYAL LINE

The Royal line is now powered by TUDOR Manufacture Calibres, complete with the finish typical of these high-performance movements; their rotors in tungsten monobloc are openworked and satin-brushed with sand-blasted details, and their bridges and mainplate have alternating sand-blasted, polished surfaces and laser decorations.

Their build is designed to ensure robustness and precision. To do this, their variable inertia balance wheel is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point anchoring. This system, together with non-magnetic silicon hairsprings, enables the Manufacture Calibres MT5412 and MT5633 to function within a tolerance range of 6 seconds (-2/+4) and 8 seconds (-3/+5) for the small diameter Manufacture Calibre MT5201, in all cases tested on fully assembled watches.

Another notable feature is that the power reserve of the Manufacture Calibres MT5412 and MT5633 are “weekend-proof”; that is to say, they have a 70-hour power reserve (50 hours for the MT5201), which enables the wearer to take the watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. Even if you need a weekend away, your watch does not.

TUDOR MONARCH

TUDOR MONARCH

A finely faceted case with razor-sharp lines and a bracelet to match, an enigmatic dial with distinctive applied hour markers, and a Manufacture Calibre with time-honoured finishing that stands apart. This is a new watch with a name that carries a century-old legacy. All hail the new TUDOR Monarch!

A pure approach to watchmaking is king at TUDOR, and horological tradition reigns supreme. The core mission has always been to build the best possible watch at the best possible price for a century now; the only thing that’s changed is the approach TUDOR takes to meet this goal. In the beginning, long ago in 1926, the brand relied exclusively on independent suppliers. In recent times, TUDOR has built its own industrial network that has aided in achieving the Master Chronometer certification by METAS, the most demanding standard in the industry.

The new Monarch is testament to just how far TUDOR has come; it encapsulates a century’s worth of progress. Using the highest-grade components developed from the brand’s network of in-house and independent suppliers, TUDOR is revisiting one of its historical lines and imbuing it with a century’s worth of savoir-faire. While the aesthetic of this new Monarch is reminiscent of TUDOR’s early days, with its signature finely faceted case and matching bracelet and papyrus-toned dial with distinctive applied hour markers, its execution and level of performance is only possible today using the incredibly high precision production process that TUDOR has created within its Le Locle Manufacture.

TUDOR QUALITY

With the introduction of this brand-new Monarch, TUDOR has successfully submitted yet another model for tests to obtain the Master Chronometer certification. This is part of a constant bid to improve the quality of its products and another step towards a future where the entire TUDOR collection will be Master Chronometer certified. This certification, offered by a Swiss government body, METAS, requires a substantial number of changes to a regular TUDOR Manufacture Calibre and comes as an independent confirmation of the exceptional quality of TUDOR watches.

COMPREHENSIVE INDEPENDENT CERTIFICATION AND HIGH STANDARDS

The METAS Master Chronometer certification is comprehensive and covers the main functional characteristics of a watch including precision, resistance to magnetic fields, waterproofness and power reserve. Its standards are incredibly high, starting with precision. In order to qualify, a watch must be able to function within a 5-second range of variation each day (0/+5), that is to say 5 seconds less than the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) (-4/+6) carried out on a single movement and a second less than TUDOR’s internal standard (-2/+4), which is applied to the brand’s models with a Manufacture Calibre. The certification also guarantees the timekeeping accuracy of a watch subjected to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. Finally, it also guarantees the waterproofness claimed by the manufacturer as well as the power reserve. It should also be noted that two prerequisites are necessary before the certification can be obtained: Swiss manufacturing must conform with the criteria of Swiss Made, and the movement must be certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

CRITERIA AND TESTS FOR MASTER CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION BY METAS

All the tests and prerequisites leading to the Master Chronometer certification, which the Monarch has achieved, are summarised below:

  • Swiss Made
  • Certification by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC)
  • Precision at two temperatures, in six positions and at two levels of power reserve: 100% and 33%
  • Smooth functioning when exposed to a magnetic field of 15,000 gauss and precision following exposure
  • Waterproof to 100m (330 ft)
  • 65-hour power reserve

TIME-HONOURED LOOK

The Monarch points to early TUDOR visual execution, with a distinctive Error-Proof-style dial that incorporates two different styles of numerals: Roman from 10 to 2 and Arabic from 4 to 8. The hue and texture of the dial is akin to papyrus, the ancient material made from processed pith that was used throughout Egypt and the Classical world. In this case, it lends a classical aesthetic to the Monarch. The distinctive faceted stainless steel case and the sharp bracelet all bring the centenary aesthetic language of TUDOR into the modern era. The unusual nature of the Monarch, a mainstay in TUDOR’s line up for half a century, is exactly what makes it stand out in TUDOR’s range.

THE MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5662-2U

Credit: TUDOR

THE MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5662-2U

A full display case back frames a movement unique to the TUDOR Monarch. The Manufacture Calibre MT5662-2U displays centre hours and minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock. All the finishing hallmarks of traditional watchmaking are present, like perlage on the mainplate, Côtes de Genève on the bridges, and an 18ct gold inlay on the rotor.

The build of the Manufacture Calibre MT5662-2U is designed to ensure robustness and precision. To do this, the variable inertia balance wheel is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with two-point anchoring. It is certified as a chronometer by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), with its performance going beyond the standards set by this independent institute. In fact, where COSC allows an average variation in the daily rate of an uncased movement of between -4 and +6 seconds and TUDOR applies a 6-second (-2/+4) variation standard on its fully assembled watches, METAS requires a Master-Chronometer-certified watch to run within a tolerance range of 5 seconds (0/+5). Not only is the Manufacture Calibre MT5662-2U certified to be more accurate, it is also rated as anti-magnetic, making it impervious to magnetic fields below 15,000 gauss.

Another notable feature is that the power reserve of the Manufacture Calibre MT5662-2U is “weekend-proof”; that is to say, it has been certified for 65 hours by METAS, which enables the wearer to take the watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. Even if you need a weekend away, your watch does not.

BLACK BAY CERAMIC

BLACK BAY CERAMIC

TUDOR’s Black Bay Ceramic model has been a symbol of the brand’s technical expertise since its release in 2021. Now it comes with a new blacked-out aesthetic and another technical marvel: a matching ceramic bracelet. The watch is testament to technical mastery both in terms of the movement manufacturing and performance as well as material science.

The Black Bay Ceramic is a prime example of TUDOR’s expert command of one of the industry’s most demanding standards in terms of chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields, as well as its mastery of technical material engineering. Tested by the Federal Institute of Metrology or METAS, this Black Bay model is the epitome of high-tech aesthetic language. Its matt black ceramic elements, charcoal dial and black hands, including lume, accentuate the Black Bay Ceramic’s outstanding performance. Ceramic is a difficult material to work with, but now TUDOR has developed a matching ceramic bracelet with ergonomic qualities that serve as testament to the brand’s mastery of technical innovation, as well as a new aesthetic in line with TUDOR’s tradition of “going dark”.

GOING DARK WITH A NEW LOOK

Aesthetically, the TUDOR Black Bay Ceramic combines contemporary, high-tech details with a bold, blacked-out theme. Its matt black monobloc ceramic case has sand-blasted surfaces with bevelled edges, mirror-polished for a striking contrast, and is finished with very pronounced lines. The all-ceramic bracelet is light on the wrist and makes the watch easy to wear. The insert of its rotatable bezel is also in black ceramic with a sunray satin finish. The engraved graduations in matching tones offer an additional complementary matt detail, which responds subtly to changes in light. Its dial is also black-on-black (actually black-on-charcoal, but you get the idea), including its applied hour markers with “dark” luminescent material. In other words, this watch is all black. It’s a totem to technical mastery and for that, TUDOR continued the tradition of “going dark” with a blacked-out aesthetic.

THE MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5602-U

The Manufacture Calibre MT5602-U, which powers the Black Bay Ceramic, displays hour, minute and seconds functions. It offers the general look and feel of TUDOR Manufacture Calibres with a dedicated sun laser design and bears the Master Chronometer mention on its bridges, emphasising its distinctive performance. Its rotor is fashioned in tungsten monobloc and is openworked. It also features the distinctive laser radial grooving with sand-blasted details. Its bridges and mainplate have alternate sand-blasted and polished surfaces and laser decorations.

The build of the Manufacture Calibre MT5602-U is designed to ensure robustness and precision. BLACK BAY 54 "BLUE"

BLACK BAY 54 "BLUE"

TUDOR presents a new addition to the Black Bay 54 line in TUDOR blue that embodies the purest modern expression of the brand’s first-ever divers’ watch. A sapphire blue dial and bezel are paired with a perfectly proportioned 37mm case and a Manufacture Calibre.

The all-new Black Bay 54 is the most true-to-form example of TUDOR’s first divers’ watch, the reference 7922. The 37mm case retains the classic proportions of yesteryear, yet boasts the technical prowess of TUDOR’s time-only Manufacture Calibre MT5400 and a 200m depth rating. True to form, the unidirectional bezel is devoid of any graduated hash marks, echoing the days of the early 1950s when scuba diving was in its infancy and TUDOR produced a watch for those daring enough to engage with the burgeoning sport. The new aesthetic details, however, don’t stop at the case dimensions and bezel. The seconds hand recalls the look of the original with a lollipop design. Ergonomics have evolved as well, with a redesigned crown and bezel, both featuring historical proportions. What’s new this year is also a nod to a part of TUDOR history; the inclusion of “TUDOR blue”. This specific hue of blue is a distinct “sapphire” colour with a sunray-brushed dial and matching blue bezel.

KEY POINTS

  1. Historical proportions of a 37mm case in stainless steel with a 60-minute unidirectional bezel in stainless steel and bezel insert devoid of hash marks
  2. Subtly domed satin radial-brushed blue dial with light blue accents
  3. “Snowflake” hands, a hallmark of TUDOR divers’ watches introduced in 1969, with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescent material
  4. Manufacture Calibre MT5400, COSC-certified with a silicon balance spring, 70-hour power reserve
  5. A choice of stainless steel three-link “rivet-style” bracelet or rubber strap, both with TUDOR “T-fit” rapid adjustment clasp
  6. Five-year transferable guarantee, with no registration or periodic maintenance checks required

DIVING INTO THE PAST

Watches and Wonders 2026: TUDOR New Releases - Cortina Watch Malaysia

Credit: TUDOR

The Black Bay line was conceived with the past in mind. Honouring the important designs that laid the foundations of TUDOR’s unique aesthetic is of the highest importance. While the Black Bay line has always incorporated signature elements of past TUDOR divers’ watches, the Black Bay 54 is perhaps the most true-to-form Black Bay to have been created thus far. The Oyster Prince Submariner reference 7922 is a formidable candidate to draw inspiration from, as it was known to have been evaluated and consequently adopted by the French and US Navies and widely used by diving professionals. The earliest iterations of the 7922 used a “small crown” and eschewed the later emblematic red triangle at 12 o’clock for a cleaner, more uniform aesthetic. The Black Bay 54 follows this tradition. In fact, the Black Bay 54 recalls a number of small design details that make a big difference. Take the hands for instance: in addition to proportional adjustments, they’re pinched at the base, the same way they appeared in 1954. The bezel’s edge has been redesigned as well, with a modernised take on the ergonomic pattern of the 7922. Of course, the Black Bay 54 still features thoroughly modern touches, like a subtle satin radial-brushed dial and a “T-fit” clasp for the perfect fit. And of course, the cutting-edge Manufacture Calibre MT5400.

THE MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5400

The Manufacture Calibre MT5400, with which the Black Bay 54 is equipped, displays hours, minutes and seconds functions. It has the finish typical of TUDOR Manufacture Calibres: its rotor in tungsten monobloc is openworked and satin-brushed with sand-blasted details, and its bridges and mainplate have alternating sand-blasted, polished surfaces and laser decorations. Its build is designed to ensure robustness and precision. To do this, the variable inertia balance wheel is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point anchoring. This system, together with its non-magnetic silicon hairspring, enables the Manufacture Calibre MT5400 to function within a tolerance range of 6 seconds (-2/+4) tested on a fully assembled watch.

Another notable feature is that the power reserve of the Manufacture Calibre MT5400 is “weekend-proof”; that is to say, it has a 70-hour power reserve, which enables the wearer to take the watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. Even if you need a weekend away, your watch does not.

STEEL BRACELET OR RUBBER STRAP

Watches and Wonders 2026: TUDOR New Releases - Cortina Watch Malaysia

The Black Bay 54 is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin finish, complete with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp equipped with a system for rapid length adjustment. Easy to use, requiring no tools and offering five positions, this practical system allows wearers to carry out fine, instant adjustments of the total length of the bracelet along an adjustment window of 8mm. The clasp features ceramic ball bearings that ensure a smooth and secure closure in addition to adding a pleasing tactile element to the action of the clasp.

A black rubber strap option is also available for the Black Bay 54. The strap comes in three sizes complete with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp, and for the perfect fit, it is able to be cut down to the exact size of the wearer’s wrist. Inside, it features the signature snowflake motif for added grip, and it is form-fitted specifically for the Black Bay 54.

BLACK BAY 58

BLACK BAY 58

The Black Bay 58 has become a mainstay in TUDOR’s line up; it’s an enthusiast favourite. Now it’s receiving a host of new technical features and a new aesthetic. Along with a five-link bracelet, it’s now thinner, making it comfortable on the wrist.

The Black Bay 58 is named after the year in which the first TUDOR divers’ watch waterproof to 200m, the reference 7924, dubbed the “Big Crown”, was introduced. Among other aesthetic allusions to this famous historic watch, this model has a 39mm diameter case, in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. The new edition of the Black Bay 58 builds on the 2018 release and retains all the core design elements from TUDOR throughout the ages, but this year the classic Black Bay 58 gets the Master Chronometer certification, one of the industry’s most demanding standards in terms of chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields. Each fully assembled watch is tested in Switzerland by the Federal Institute of Metrology or METAS. To tie the whole package together, the new Black Bay 58 is now available on a five-link bracelet, a three-link bracelet or a rubber strap. All three have TUDOR’s rapid adjustment system known as “T-fit”, making the watch more wearable than ever before, not to mention a new case shape at 11.7 mm thick.

Not only is the case design updated, the aesthetic is as well. At first glance it’s easy to see that the text on the dial has been reduced to two lines in line with TUDOR’s Master Chronometer certified watches, but upon closer inspection you’ll notice pinched hands at the base and a new bezel and crown design.

TUDOR QUALITY

With the introduction of this brand-new Black Bay 58, TUDOR has successfully submitted yet another model for tests to obtain the Master Chronometer certification.

All the tests and prerequisites leading to the Master Chronometer certification, which the Black Bay has achieved, are summarised below:

  • Swiss Made
  • Certification by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC)
  • Precision at two temperatures, in six positions and at two levels of power reserve: 100% and 33%
  • Smooth functioning when exposed to a magnetic field of 15,000 gauss and precision following exposure
  • Waterproof to 200m (660 ft)
  • 65-hour power reserve

THE MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5400-U

The Manufacture Calibre MT5400-U, which powers the Black Bay 58, displays hour, minute and seconds functions. It offers the general look and feel of TUDOR Manufacture Calibres with a dedicated sun laser design and bears the Master Chronometer mention on its bridges, emphasising its distinctive performance. EMBLEMATIC LOOK

Credit: TUDOR

EMBLEMATIC LOOK

The Black Bay remains one of TUDOR’s most recognised and recognisable lines. In the Black Bay 58, the case offers the proportions of a 39mm case with a thinner profile. The unidirectional rotatable bezel offers very prehensible sides and its insert shows subtly curved numerals aligning with the outline of the outer ring. However, the aesthetic details don’t stop at the case dimensions and bezel. The seconds hand recalls the look of the brand’s early divers’ watches with a lollipop design, while the domed dial is matt just like the early TUDOR diving watches. Ergonomics have evolved as well, with a redesigned crown, reminiscent of the curves found on the crowns of the brand’s historical technical watches, that is set flush to the middle case band.

THREE-LINK RIVET-STYLE BRACELET, FIVE-LINK BRACELET OR RUBBER STRAP, ALL WITH T-FIT

The three-link “rivet-style” bracelet of the Black Bay 58 model visually refers to the riveted bracelets used by TUDOR in the 1950s and 1960s. These were famous for having rivet heads visible on the side of the links. These bracelets also had a distinct stepped design, where every link, going from the clasp, was slightly larger than the previous one. These two aesthetic elements appear on today’s version, which combines modern manufacturing methods with solid links and “rivets” with laser-finished heads. This bracelet, along with the five-link stainless steel bracelet, also comes with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp, an ingenious system for rapid length adjustment. Easy to use, requiring no tools and offering five positions, this practical system allows wearers to carry out fine, instant adjustments of the total length of the bracelet along an adjustment window of 8mm. The clasp also features ceramic ball bearings that ensure a smooth and secure closure in addition to adding a pleasing tactile element to the action of the clasp.

A cut-to-size black rubber strap option is also available for the Black Bay 58. It comes in three sizes, fitted with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp for the perfect fit. On the inside, it features the signature snowflake motif for added grip, and it is form-fitted specifically for this model.

Meet the Master Chronometer certified Black Bay 58 GMT. With a 39mm diameter case, a bidirectional bezel festooned with warm hues reminiscent of the golden age of air travel, and a five-link bracelet, it’s the answer to your jet-setting prayers.

TUDOR is introducing an additional model to the Black Bay line, the Black Bay 58 GMT. This model is evocative of an era when the novelty of jet-setting across time zones was matched by glamorous and elegant style. It is fitted with TUDOR’s new mid-size GMT Manufacture Calibre paired with warm hues of burgundy, black and gilt on the bezel. The universally appealing case of the Black Bay 58 has become the model’s calling card, and now it comes in GMT form.

The watch is the perfect match for a GMT function, and with the Black Bay 58 GMT, the jet-setter’s ultimate function comes with a touch of mid-century elegance. The bezel is burgundy and black with a gilt 24-hour scale, keeping with the general design language of the Black Bay line. The design is reminiscent of a time when TUDOR divers’ watches were first being made and jet planes were moving through times zones and delivering interlopers to destinations they could only dream of, faster than ever before. Finishing gilt touches have been applied to the hour markers, hands, and hour markers of the bicolour bezel. Another fan favourite touch that remains on the Black Bay 58 GMT is the winding crown, which bears the TUDOR rose logo in relief.

TUDOR QUALITY

With the introduction of this Black Bay 58 GMT, TUDOR has successfully submitted yet another model for tests to obtain the Master Chronometer certification.

All the tests and prerequisites leading to the Master Chronometer certification, which the Black Bay has achieved, are summarised below:

  • Swiss Made
  • Certification by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC)
  • Precision at two temperatures, in six positions and at two levels of power reserve: 100% and 33%
  • Smooth functioning when exposed to a magnetic field of 15,000 gauss and precision following exposure
  • Waterproof to 200m (660 ft)
  • 65-hour power reserve

THE GMT MANUFACTURE CALIBRE MT5450-U

Watches and Wonders 2026: TUDOR New Releases - Cortina Watch Malaysia

Credit: TUDOR

The Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U, which powers the Black Bay 58 GMT, illustrates the technical development process signature of TUDOR, drawing on adaptable movement architecture capable of integrating new functions rather than resorting to additional modules. A minor detail for some, but a must for watchmaking purists.

Displaying hours, minutes, seconds and GMT functions, it offers the general look and feel of TUDOR Manufacture Calibres with dedicated sun laser design and bears the Master Chronometer mention on its bridges, emphasising its distinctive performance. Its rotor is fashioned in tungsten monobloc and is openworked. It also features the distinctive laser radial grooving with sand-blasted details. Its bridges and mainplate have alternating sand-blasted and polished surfaces and laser decorations.

The build of the Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U is designed to ensure robustness and precision. To do this, the variable inertia balance wheel is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point anchoring. It is certified as a chronometer by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), with its performance going beyond the standards set by this independent institute. In fact, where COSC allows an average variation in the daily rate of an uncased movement of between -4 and +6 seconds, and TUDOR applies a 6-second (-2/+4) variation standard on its fully assembled watches, METAS requires a Master Chronometer certified watch to run within a tolerance range of 5 seconds (0/+5). Not only is the Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U certified to be more accurate, it is also rated as anti-magnetic, making it impervious to magnetic fields below 15,000 gauss.

Another notable feature is that the power reserve of the Manufacture Calibre MT5450-U is “weekend-proof”, about 65 hours. This enables the wearer to take the watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to reset it.

EMBLEMATIC LOOK

The Black Bay remains one of TUDOR’s most recognised and recognisable lines. In the Black Bay 58 GMT, the case offers the proportions of a 39mm case with a thinner profile than a 41mm Black Bay GMT. The bidirectional rotatable bezel offers very prehensible sides and its insert shows subtly curved numerals aligning with the outline of the outer ring. However, the aesthetic details don’t stop at the case dimensions and bezel. The seconds hand recalls the look of the brand’s early divers’ watches with a lollipop design, while the satin black dial is softly radial-brushed for a very subtle shine under direct light. Ergonomics have evolved as well, with a redesigned crown, reminiscent of the curves found on the crowns of the brand’s historical technical watches, that is set flush to the middle case band so that its tube is not visible.

FIVE-LINK BRACELET, RIVET-STYLE BRACELET OR RUBBER STRAP, ALL WITH T-FIT

Fitted on the five-link bracelet, the watch calls to mind iconic designs closely associated with the rise of commercial aviation. Additionally, the five-link bracelet is known for its easy articulation that contributes to its comfort on the wrist. Polished centre links complete the package adding a touch of elegance. The “rivet-style” three-link bracelet of the Black Bay 58 GMT model visually refers to the riveted bracelets used by TUDOR in the 1950s and 1960s. This bracelet also comes with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp, an ingenious system for rapid length adjustment. Easy to use, requiring no tools and offering five positions, this practical touch allows wearers to carry out fine, instant adjustments of the total length of the bracelet along an adjustment window of 8mm. The clasp features ceramic ball bearings that ensure a smooth and secure closure in addition to adding a pleasing tactile element to the action of the clasp.

A cut-to-size black rubber strap option is also available for the Black Bay 58 GMT. It comes in three sizes, fitted with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp for the perfect fit. On the inside, it features the signature snowflake motif for added grip, and it is form-fitted specifically for this model.
