Franck Muller certainly didn’t disappoint when it raised the curtains on its latest creations at its annual World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie (WPHH) in April. Unveiled at Watchland—the independent watchmaking house’s fairy-tale-like headquarters in Genthod, Geneva, where all its timepieces are conceived and crafted—the new 2025 novelties run the gamut from bold, gem-encrusted watches for ladies, to a contemporary art-inspired reimagining of its iconic Crazy Hours watch.
Whether you desire an accompaniment for a glamorous night out, a stately dress watch, or a technically elevated complication, we are sure you will find a new Franck Muller watch with your name on it.
Easily Franck Muller’s most glittery roll-out of 2025, the new Round Triple Mystery combines gem-set artistry and mechanical sophistication to deliver a magical wrist statement.
A watch that tells the time without conventional hands, the Round Triple Mystery invites curiosity and wonder. Franck Muller uses an ingenious system of three rotating discs, each marked with an arrow pointer, to display the hours, minutes, and seconds. The technical feat required to orchestrate the rotating discs—especially captivating with the skeleton pastille at the middle—is complemented by the watch’s unabashed shower of diamonds. Every millimetre of the 39mm white or rose gold case is carpeted in diamonds, including the dial, fastidiously set in a manner that captures and reflects the light in a mesmerising dance to chart the passage of time.
Having lent his offbeat and parodic creativity to brands like Armani and BMW, French contemporary street artist Jean-Baptiste Launay, better known as Jisbar, stretches his artistic muscles with Franck Muller on the Vanguard Crazy Hours Jisbar.
Taking on one of the most mechanically mind-boggling creations in modern horology is no small feat. Still, Jisbar steps up to the task and imbues even more whimsicality into the famously off-kilter timepiece. Known for its unconventional time display comprising jumbled hour numbers and a hand that snaps to every hour in a seemingly haphazard manner, the Crazy Hours watch has been transformed into a mini pop-art masterpiece. Here, Jisbar reworks the hour numerals with his unique design language that incorporates graffiti- and doodle-inspired aesthetics and bold pops of colour. Available in five exclusive finishes—carbon, steel, titanium, black titanium, and rose gold—each version is limited to 50 numbered pieces.
Ladies, you will not find a more exquisite bouquet than the Vanguard Curvex Cut Flower this year. Whether as a gift from someone precious, or a treat for yourself, one thing is for sure: the watch will command attention at any soiree.
Franck Muller’s mastery of decorative horology takes centre stage with this watch, amalgamating gem-setting and skeletonisation techniques to create a breathtaking masterpiece. The Vanguard Curvex Cut Flower invites you to get lost in its gorgeous canopy of flowers, their petals made of Curvex-Cut-cut diamonds—each featuring 73 facets that follow the silhouette of a petal— set on thin bridges that offer a peek at the watch’s hand-wound movement underneath. Available in white and rose gold, the distinctive tonneau-shaped Vanguard case is set entirely with brilliant-cut diamonds to ensure unbridled glamour.
Experimentation has always been at the heart of Franck Muller’s modus operandi. With the Vanguard Royal Bauxite, the watchmaking house trains its sights on material play to birth an eye-catching timepiece made of an exclusive aluminium alloy.
Sheathed in a gorgeous blue sheen, the Vanguard Royal Bauxite’s case is made from a special aluminium alloy that is exceptionally scratch-resistant, and can be imbued with intense and vibrant shades, thanks to its strong anodisation properties. The material is also used on the bridges of the watch’s skeletonised movement—a formidable engine that beats at a slow and steady cadence of 18,000 vibrations per hour, which has been conceived and made entirely in-house.
While Franck Muller is commonly associated with flamboyant aesthetics, the brand shows that it is just as adept at crafting quietly refined dress watches with the Vanguard Sfumato Slim. Though lavished with hues that span royal navy to cigar brown, the watch exudes a pared-down quality that, while commanding, doesn’t seek to overwhelm one’s getup.
Housed in a polished rose gold or stainless steel case, the watch is inspired by the Renaissance art of “sfumato”, which means “vanished” or “softened” in Italian. Indeed, there is an ethereal disposition about the Vanguard Sfumato Slim. This is courtesy of its elegant dial with thin hour markers, which features a gradated effect that is achieved by hand-application of multiple layers of lacquer. To complete the look, the Vanguard Sfumato Slim is paired with a similarly coloured leather strap that has been integrated with the case.
