Last night at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, Chopard Co-Presidents Caroline Scheufele and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele were called on stage to receive the distinctions awarded by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
The Sports watch prize was conferred upon the Alpine Eagle 41 SL Cadence 8HF, which features an 41mm case in a ceramicised titanium. This super-light sporty timepiece features a “Pitch Black” titanium dial accented by subtle hints of orange, beating to the rythm of the high-frequency Chronometer-certified Chopard 01.14-C movement.
In addition to this, the Ladies’ Complication prize was awarded to the IMPERIALE Four Seasons, a precious timepiece composed of an 18-carat ethical white gold case set with diamonds. At its heart, the L.U.C 96.31-L calibre features a rotating disc whose decoration evolves with the passing seasons.

Chopard has enjoyed repeated success at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève over the years. In 2024, the Maison proudly claimed two distinctions: the Eco-Innovation Prize and the Jewellery Watch Prize. These honours join a long list of accolades earned since the competition’s inception in 2001. Among the most notable was in 2017, when Chopard received the coveted ‘Aiguille d’Or’ Grand Prix for its groundbreaking L.U.C Full Strike minute repeater.
The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is an annual celebration of excellence in contemporary watchmaking, showcasing the artistry and innovation that define the industry. Each year, hundreds of timepieces compete for the most coveted distinctions in the field, reinforcing the traditions, craftsmanship, and values that underpin Swiss and global horological heritage. Often referred to as the ‘Oscars of Watchmaking’, this prestigious event is an unmissable highlight of the industry’s international calendar of events.
