To commemorate the 10th anniversary of this important launch, BOVET is introducing a special edition of the 19Thirty.

The 19Thirty has been an iconic collection for BOVET since June 2015, when it was first introduced. This timepiece channeled the House’s rich history making the world’s most beautiful pocket timepieces in the 1800s.

The 19Thirty collection captures and honors a moment when the watchmaking industry was undergoing a true transformation, when pocket timepieces were making their way onto the wrist. Although from today’s perspective, this seems like a natural evolution for watchmaking, it was a genuine revolution at the time. With their new ergonomics, wristwatches provided more freedom and new uses which, in turn, gave rise to new functions. This marked the beginning of specialized timepieces designed to meet new, more demanding needs.

A new wave rises at Blancpain with two exquisite Fifty Fathoms Automatique timepieces designed for women captivated by the Ocean’s allure and spirit of exploration. For the first time, these watches are housed in a refined 38 mm case, reinterpreting the iconic diver’s watch through a modern feminine lens.

Inspired by an observation from Jean-Jacques Fiechter – then CEO of Blancpain, a pioneer diver, and the father of the Fifty Fathoms – who noted that the female divers in his circle often consumed less air and stayed underwater longer, Blancpain proudly extends the Fifty Fathoms collection with timepieces that pay tribute to women’s adventurous spirit.

The Superocean Heritage is no ordinary sea watch – it never was. When Breitling first launched it in 1957, it took a different tack from other dive watches of the era. The Ref. 1004 (a sleek time-only piece) and Ref. 807 (the world’s first dedicated dive chronograph) weren’t just about exploring the underwater world – they were about looking good doing it. The spear-and-arrow hands, anodized rotating bezel, and naturally sleek proportions made it a favourite of stylish adventurers who lived for the sea and the scene. Today, that philosophy is still at the core of the Superocean Heritage. It has the soul of the 1950s, but it’s designed for today.
