This special Ploprof takes its design cues from OMEGA’s 1970s original.

Crafted in O-MEGASTEEL, it has a sun-brushed dial in OMEGA’s own Summer Blue with a gradient finish to reflect the watch’s level of water resistance. The bezel is produced in transparent sapphire crystal, varnished blue on the back, to reveal the light blue diving scale beneath.

The iconic mono-bloc case includes the famous screwed-in crown and the characteristic security pusher at 2 o’clock, which on this edition sports a ring in blue ceramic. In keeping with the colour code, OMEGA has filled the varnished hands and indexes with a unique light blue Super-LumiNova.

Turning the watch over reveals a laser-engraved commemorative Seamaster logo, framed by engraved waves and depicting a trident-bearing Poseidon and two seahorses: OMEGA’s 1956 original and the brand’s current design. Behind which sits the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912. An original-style blue rubber strap completes the look.

As part of the Five Deeps Expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep concept watch made history when it reached the deepest place on Earth. Following that World Record dive, OMEGA produced a collection for everyday adventurers. A watch tested in real ocean conditions during its development, water-resistant to 6,000 metres (20,000 ft.), and meeting the ISO 6425:2018 standard for saturation divers’ watches, as certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

This 45.5 mm model has a case and bracelet in robust O-MEGASTEEL and an extraordinary dial that pays homage to the mysteries of the deep. Its pattern is an accurate representation of the bottom of the Challenger Deep, the deepest point in the Mariana Trench, mapped by the Five Deeps team using almost one million sonar points. Its lacquered finish, produced by letting an ocean of lacquer flow across the dial, has a beautiful sense of depth. The dial even has a playful side. Shining a UV light reveals the words, OMEGA WAS HERE, pointing toward the world record dive of 10,935 metres (35,876 ft.) and showing the Western, Central and Eastern Pools.

The caseback has a laser-engraved commemorative Seamaster logo depicting a trident-bearing Poseidon and two seahorses: OMEGA’s 1956 original and the brand’s current design. Behind which sits the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912.

The Montblanc Star Legacy product line takes its inspiration from Minerva’s heritage and the company’s pocket watches that were made during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar comes in an elegant 42mm stainless steel case with straight horns and steps on the side and includes several design cues from this era with rounded, polished, pebble-shaped case; onion crown with the recognizable Montblanc emblem; and refined and legible dial with the iconic exploding star guilloché pattern. This model features rose gold-coated Arabic numerals and matching rose gold-colored hands. Other details on the dial include a railway track with dots and a “filet sauté” that run around the periphery of the dial, a date hand with a red half-moon tip, and an elegant Montblanc emblem on the counterweight of the second hand. The timepiece is powered by the automatic caliber MB 24.30, which indicates the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month and moon phase. The day of the week and the month appear in apertures on the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is reserved for the moon phase display. The timepiece comes in a blue sfumato alligator leather strap version.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Grey Automatic Date Limited Edition of 1786 pieces comes in a 39mm stainless steel case that highlights a new facet of the Mont Blanc – its south-facing rocky side where the snow has difficulty to settle on its vertical face. This glacier gray pattern dial on this timepiece is highlighted with rose-gold-coated hands and Arabic numerals. Another nice touch is that the Montblanc emblem, on both the seconds hand and on the dial just about the date, cross paths every minute. The timepiece comes on an interchangeable gray calf leather strap with an alligator print.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph is powered by the MB R200 manufacture movement and comes in a 43mm stainless steel case with a blue-coloured dial, and rhodium-coated hands and silver-white coloured indexes. This new model features several details that reinforce the historical Paris connection – where the Montblanc chronograph story first began at the Champ-de-Mars horse racing track – including a Clou de Paris motif on the dial that is continued onto the oscillating weight and the textile strap. This motif originates from the geometric design of Paris’s cobbled streets and is the link from the past to the future of this timepiece.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Grey Moonphase Limited Edition of 1786 pieces comes in a 42mm stainless steel case that highlights a new facet of the Mont Blanc – its south-facing rocky side where the snow has difficulty to settle on its vertical face. This highly appreciated moonphase complication displays the phases of the moon at six o’clock and overlaps the gray glacier pattern in the background. The model comes with an elegant rose-gold-coated moon and stars on a blue background that are surrounded by a round date indicator. The timepiece comes on an interchangeable gray calf leather strap with an alligator print.

The gray glacier pattern can be perceived in the background, while the filet sauté has been replaced with an inner flange to bring volume to the dial. The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph celebrates 100 years of Montblanc’s famous Meisterstück writing instrument with design elements from the iconic fountain pen. Limited to 500 pieces, the timepiece comes in a 43 mm stainless steel case with an interchangeable black calf leather strap with alligator print. The black dial is adorned with luminescent printing that reveals a blueprint of the writing instrument dated from 1920 and plans from the dimension table from the Montblanc snowcapped emblem that can be found on the tip of every Meisterstück cap and on the crown of Montblanc timepieces. The significant 4810, intrinsically connected to Meisterstück can also be found on the dial, above the two rotating domed chronograph discs. A host of golden touches on the dial combined with the stainless steel of the case also recall the bicolour design of the Meisterstück’s nib. By turning the timepiece over, the oscillating weight of the Manufacture monopusher chronograph movement MB R200 can be observed through the caseback, revealing a nod to the world of handwriting with a delicate 8; a symbol inspired by calligraphy movements.
