Faithful to its heritage of craftsmanship, H. Moser & Cie. has reinterpreted its iconic fumé dials by highlighting the ancestral art of enamelling. Revisited with a resolutely contemporary approach, this expertise gives rise to an original, bright and vibrant shade, the hammered texture of which creates a captivating play of light. Housed in a 40-mm steel case and powered by an HMC 201 automatic movement, the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel combines the timeless elegance of a three-hand watch with a bold aesthetic and powerful charisma.
An absolute classic in watchmaking, the three-hand watch demands impeccable technical mastery, where every detail counts. To stand out, the aesthetics must attain perfection, achieving a perfect balance: immaculate proportions, harmonious forms, high-end finishes. With the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel model, H. Moser & Cie. has turned this timeless elegance on its head by adding a daring touch: a dial that radiates an unprecedented depth of colour, produced using a reinvented enamelling technique. True to its unique approach, the Manufacture has revisited the ancestral art of “Grand Feu” enamelling to bring it in line with contemporary tastes, thereby preserving this precious technique while reinterpreting it in its own way. The process begins with a white gold base on which a textured motif is engraved, creating a hammered effect. Then six enamel pigments, all in different colours, are carefully washed and finely crushed before being meticulously applied in a gradation to create the dial’s bright hue. The master enameller spends hours adjusting each shade with extreme precision, ensuring the colours blend harmoniously together during successive firings, with no pixelation. A dial must be fired multiple times to create H. Moser & Cie.’s unique signature fumé effect. The result is striking: an intense depth, a texture enhanced by the transparency of the “Grand Feu” enamel, and a fascinating colour, called Purple Haze, which is particularly difficult to achieve.
This is a true work of watchmaking art that the Manufacture has chosen to let express itself freely and in complete purity, with no logo or index.
Beating at the heart of the 40-mm steel case is a 100% Swiss mechanical Manufacture movement: the HMC 201 calibre. This automatic movement is equipped with a regulating organ manufactured by H. Moser & Cie.‘s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, and comprises a double hairspring, instantly identifiable thanks to the purple seconds hand and the blue balance bridge. Thanks to its architecture that supports openness, the watch components are revealed through partially skeletonised bridges, accentuated by an ultra-modern anthracite grey finish. This opening elegantly allows the wheels of the gear train, central seconds and bidirectional automatic winding system to be viewed, while the rotor has also been openworked so as not to obstruct the view of the movement, which still guarantees a power reserve of at least 3 days. The timepiece is set off to stunning effect by a purple kudu leather strap, whose velvety texture and deep hue extend the intensity of the dial, adding the final touch to this powerfully bold creation.
With the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Turquoise Enamel, H. Moser & Cie. has taken the art of Grand Feu enamelling to its apex, bringing radical modernity to an age-old skill. Reinventing its iconic fumé aesthetic, the Manufacture has brought to life a dial of striking chromatic intensity, capturing the light with every movement of the wrist in a captivating visual interplay. This beauty sits within a 40 mm 5N red gold case housing an HMC 805 tourbillon Manufacture calibre, a perfect marriage of watchmaking technology and refined aesthetics.
Behind its apparent understatement, the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Turquoise Enamel embodies uninhibited refinement. Far removed from convention, it focuses on absolute purity: no logo, no indices, just pure chromatic intensity; a weightless flying tourbillon, and a dial that mesmerises with its depth, in a new colour named, simply, Turquoise. Expert craftsmen follow a meticulous process to obtain this unique shade: a white gold base is engraved with a hammered motif before being covered with several successive layers of translucent enamel, applied by hand with extreme precision. Three different pigments are used to create the famous fumé gradient effect that has become the signature of H. Moser & Cie. Each kiln firing fuses the pigments without ever altering their intensity. The result is a luminous gradient, oscillating between depth and transparency.
At the heart of this timepiece beats the calibre HMC 805, an automatic movement equipped with a one-minute flying tourbillon fitted with a double hairspring. Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, produced by H. Moser & Cie.‘s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection. In addition, the paired hairsprings also reduce the effect of friction normally experienced with a single hairspring, improving isochronism even further. Designed to reveal the full beauty of the watch’s architecture, the HMC 805 movement plays with transparency, with open-worked bridges and a sophisticated anthracite finish offering a bird’s-eye view of the internal mechanics. Its skeletonised red gold rotor ensures efficient winding while allowing the entire movement to be admired.
The Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Turquoise Enamel comes with a grey ostrich leather strap, a subtle choice that enhances the richness of the dial while underlining the watch’s radical minimalism.
With this creation, H. Moser & Cie. once again demonstrates that fine watchmaking is not about mechanical precision alone: it is about perception, texture, light and emotion.
Precious and timeless, gemstones often have a classic feel. True to its rebellious spirit, H. Moser & Cie., the brand that likes to shake things up, is revisiting these ornamental minerals and breathing new energy into them. More fun, more Burmese jade, turquoise, coral, pink opal, lapis lazuli, lemon chrysoprase… Unique dials that make each watch a collector’s item like no other.
There are artists who, driven by a unique inspiration, express their vision through a singular chromatic palette: we talk about a blue period, a red period. H. Moser & Cie., known for its minimalist philosophy and fumé dials, is following in this artistic tradition with the Pop collection. In the past, the Schaffhausen manufacturer has often proposed bold colours, but always with a monochromatic approach. This ephemeral collection dares to use totally unexpected combinations in a veritable explosion of colours and materials. Just as it boldly revisited the art of enamelling in a refined, contemporary approach, H. Moser & Cie. brings to life watches that dare, that raise a smile, that light-heartedly transcend the sometimes overly classical aesthetic codes of Haute Horlogerie.
The Pop collection is a chromatic odyssey, a boundless exploration of the most vibrant shades through the prism of gemstones and coral essences. Burmese jade, turquoise, coral, pink opal, lapis lazuli, lemon chrysoprase: each stone has been selected with the utmost rigour, both for the intensity of its colour and its exceptional clarity. And, of course, there are no logos or indexes on the dials, allowing complete, free expression of their beauty. Minimalism at H. Moser & Cie. finds a new dimension here, where the material itself becomes the ultimate expression of design.
As well as their striking beauty, these stones carry a powerful symbolism. Known for its soothing and protective properties, jade embodies wisdom and harmony. Lapis lazuli, the stone of kings and artists, is linked to intuition and creativity. Turquoise, with its unique brilliance, symbolises vitality and protection. Deep orange coral evokes passion and vital force, lemon chrysoprase promotes self-confidence, while pink opal inspires gentleness and love. Each timepiece in the Pop collection thus becomes a talisman, a personal expression of pure emotion.
Like the rarest works of art, this exceptional collection will be available only fleetingly. Produced in an exclusive series, it comprises 28 pieces per colour for the Endeavour Small Seconds Concept models, 8 pieces for the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept models, and a single Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Concept model. Their rarity further accentuates the precious uniqueness of each piece.
With the Pop collection, H. Moser & Cie. once again demonstrates that minimalism is an infinite form of expression, capable of reinventing itself and defying convention. An invitation to rediscover gemstones and colour from a new angle, at the crossroads of watchmaking and art, and to appreciate the historic skills of the lapidary’s art in a whole new way.
H. Moser & Cie. has added two new references to its Streamliner collection: The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Frozen, available in 5N red gold or steel, is ready to defy time with a particularly seductive textured aesthetic. While its movement, the automatic calibre HMC 907, still vibrates with the same enchanting precision, it is its dial that steals the show and catches everyone’s attention. Whether in Midnight Blue fumé for the 5N red gold model or Matrix Green fumé on the steel model, this piece boasts a hand-sculpted frosted finish that catches the light and the eye.
True to form, H. Moser & Cie. focuses on the essentials. The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic retains its refined aesthetic and the minimalism of the central display; the piece is adorned with a subtle texture, the result of patient hand-engraving followed by stamping on the brass plates to obtain a frosted finish that is both luminous and vibrant. A tinted lacquer is then applied in vivid shades of colour: the deep, enchanting Midnight Blue for the 5N red gold model, and the intense, hypnotic Matrix Green for the steel model. True masterpieces in relief, these dials resemble “tableaux vivants”, their frosted texture catching the light and releasing it in an explosion of reflections. At just the right angle, they glisten like snow in the sunlight, radiating ever-changing sparkles. A hypnotic spectacle, in which every tiny variation in light reveals a new facet of the pattern. To preserve this visual purity, the H. Moser & Cie. logo is discreetly applied in transparent lacquer like a secret signature, respecting the harmony of the dial without disrupting its balance.
Water-resistant to 12 ATM and featuring a highly sculptural design, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Frozen case is harmoniously proportioned and beautifully aerodynamic, with an integrated rubber strap on the 5N red gold model or a steel bracelet on the steel model.
On the movement side, these two models are equipped with one of the best chronograph calibres ever designed. This movement was developed by AGENHOR, one of H. Moser & Cie.‘s partner companies, with a focus on minimalism and legibility. Visible through the sapphire case-back, the calibre HMC 907 features a highly contemporary finish, with the traditional Moser stripes angled at 45° and anthracite grey rhodium-plating on the bridges and main plate. The oscillating weight has been placed between the movement and the dial to allow the operation of the chronograph and its column wheel to be admired.
With an aesthetic that is both sporty and refined, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Frozen has a raw energy supremely channelled in its power and subtle sophistication. H. Moser & Cie. delivers the perfect combination – the excellence of the HMC 907 movement, the elegance of a sleek design and the captivating depth of the colours: this is watchmaking at its purest and most intense. A fusion of mastery of time and pure emotion.
