Watches and Wonders 2026: NORQAIN New Releases

At launch, there are three versions of the Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono 42mm. The standard edition will be available in black NORTEQ® with a black shock absorber on a black rubber strap with turquoise detailing, and an optional turquoise rubber strap. There’ll also be a piece in burgundy NORTEQ® with a black shock absorber on a black rubber strap, with white detailing, which will be limited to 400 pieces.

The third is a special edition limited to 75 pieces that features a top plate in brushed and polished 18-carat 5N “PX IMPACT®” red gold. This responsibly sourced gold is supplied by NORQAIN’s Swiss partner PX Group.

To introduce the new watch, NORQAIN will run a dynamic campaign featuring a trio of NORQAIN ambassadors: the rising star of Swiss football Sydney Schertenleib; Swiss tennis legend and multiple Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka; and the iconic Italian footballer and World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon.

At the heart of the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite‘s story is its case construction, which takes the Wild ONE concept to a new extreme, beyond the outer limits of lightness for a watch with its proportions, functionality and robustness. It’s composed in black NORTEQ®, titanium and aluminium, while the new X-Lite material appears in the watch’s casing ring. This combination of advanced, highly innovative materials is the key to the watch’s extreme strength-to-weight ratio.

It also delivers high impact resistance. In testing, the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite proved resistant to shocks of more than 5,000G. At the same time, the watch retains its wearability: in total, this unique, highly shock-absorbing construction measures just 11.95mm thick. It also offers 100 metres of water resistance.

The story of high lightness continues through the watch. The crown is in black NORTEQ® with a yellow rubber insert for grip. The black dial is skeletonised, further reducing weight, and printed with highly legible yellow detailing, including the NORQAIN logo, which is positioned at 12 o’clock on the dial ring. The watch’s hour, minutes and central seconds hands are also skeletonised, removing still more weight. Both these and the hour markers are detailed with a luminescent yellow Super-LumiNova® outline.

The innovation continues inside the watch, too. The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite is powered by a proprietary new movement, the NORQAIN 4K Manufacture Calibre. Developed with our partners at AMT, this skeletonised, chronometer-certified automatic movement has a 65-hour power reserve, 24 hours more than in previous NORQAIN skeleton watches. The movement tells NORQAIN’s story, too. Its bridges and rotor are sculpted into shapes inspired by mountain peaks, now a NORQAIN signature and a symbol of the company’s ambition to create watches that challenge people to go further and to push their limits.

Extending its story of groundbreaking innovation and extreme lightness, the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite introduces a world-first strap concept based on a sophisticated double-layered construction with interchangeable elements.

The Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles” features a 40mm case in 316L stainless steel and is available either on a stainless steel bracelet or on a white rubber strap decorated with additional sprinkles that glow in the dark, with a choice of folding clasp or pin buckle. It’s equipped with a double anti-reflective, scratch-proof, box-type sapphire glass on top and a flat sapphire glass on the case back that’s printed with the words “Enjoy Life” and special edition markings. Its chronograph function is operated via stainless steel vintage pump pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock.

The watch’s mechanical movement is NORQAIN Calibre N19, an automatic chronograph finished with a bespoke NORQAIN oscillating weight. This delivers an impressive 62-hour power reserve and gives the watch its tri-compax dial layout, with a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Chronograph seconds are measured by a sweeping central seconds hand. A tachymeter scale around the dial’s outer edge for calculating speed over a known distance adds functionality, balance and sportiness.

Further quality signifiers include a screw-down crown engraved with the NORQAIN logo, ensuring water resistance to 100 metres; diamond-cut, rhodium-plated hands and hour markers; and Super-LumiNova® inserts in the hour and minute hands and hour markers for enhanced lowlight legibility.
