Beyond the Moon: OMEGA Redefines the Speedmaster Legacy

OMEGA ushers in 2026 with a bold reinterpretation of an icon: two new Speedmaster Moonwatch timepieces, each presenting the legendary chronograph in a striking inverted dial configuration.

At the heart of these new models lies the Moonwatch’s signature step dial, elevated through a sophisticated double-plate construction. The top layer, polished black and finished with varnish and lacquer for a luminous sheen, frames the rhodium-plated subdials with precision. Beneath it, a pristine white base layer complements the subdials, itself varnished and lacquered to perfection. Minute tracks in contrasting tones—white on the main dial and black on the subdials—reinforce the reversed aesthetic while enhancing legibility, a subtle yet unmistakable nod to avant-garde design.

Encircling the dial, black ceramic bezel rings carry a tachymeter scale in white enamel, a classic Speedmaster hallmark reimagined for 2026. The iconic box-form sapphire crystal, scratch-resistant and treated with anti-reflective coating, glints above the dial, while the wrist is embraced by polished-brushed bracelets crafted in the traditional Moonwatch style and equipped with OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system.
