Cortina Curates Local continues to spotlight the richness of local artistry, celebrating creators whose work not only inspires but elevates the language of craftsmanship. Curated as a refined platform for artistic dialogue, the initiative brings together a community of makers whose practices are deeply rooted in intention, emotion, and refined skill.
This Lunar New Year, the focus turns to TALEE Studio, whose thoughtful approach to knotting transforms a traditional craft into a poetic expression of time and memory. In honour of the Year of the Horse, the studio presents a distinctive knot charm—each intricate crossing symbolising moments layered and intertwined, while the gentle curve of its lower loop recalls a horseshoe, evoking strength, resilience, and grounding.
Rooted in the gentle act of remembrance, Talee Studio transforms knot-tying into a language of connection and healing, where every detail is imbued with intention. The resulting piece is both intimate and expressive, a reflection of artistry that resonates beyond form.
In this collaboration, Cortina Curates Local invites a deeper appreciation of craft as a living, evolving dialogue—one that reminds us that beauty is not simply created, but carefully woven over time.
Cortina Curates Local showcases our collaboration with kindred craftmakers and visionaries, celebrating homegrown artistry and storytelling.
