NORQAIN’s Independence Skeleton Chrono 42mm Orange Introduces a Popular Favourite in a Striking New Colour

The timepiece’s skeletonised orange dial showcases an eye-catching three-dimensional effect that subtly suggests the outline of the mountain chain so deeply rooted in NORQAIN’s DNA. The elements that are meticulously coloured in orange complement the parts of the dial that remain following the complex skeletonisation process. The result both enhances the sense of depth and highlights the movement’s technical sophistication. And the engraved NORQAIN logos on the movement further emphasize the brand’s connection to its beloved mountains, which are the defining element of the Swiss landscape.

The beating heart of the Independence Skeleton 42mm Orange, the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1), also celebrates the brand’s profound connection to outdoor adventures, with a name inspired by the world’s highest peaks – those 14 breathtaking wonders known as the “Eight-Thousanders”.

Protected by a double anti-reflective, scratch-resistant flat sapphire glass, the dial has a white minute scale on an orange outer ring and features a central chronograph seconds hand and a twin-counter layout with a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock and a running seconds counter at 6 o’clock. The hours and minutes are tracked by diamond-cut rhodiumplated facetted hands filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova®. The diamond-cut central chronograph seconds hand is gun metal plated and is also filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova®.
