The Wild ONE Skeleton 42mm Makes a Statement in Purple - Cortina Watch

NORQAIN is pleased to introduce the Wild ONE Skeleton 42mm Purple Limited Edition, the latest version of the family-owned independent Swiss watchmaker’s ultimate high-performance sports watch. The new watch fuses together the company’s adventurous spirit, Wild ONE’s innovative case construction and one of the colours of the year, purple. It will be limited to just 400 pieces.

At base, the new watch carries over the Wild ONE’s familiar high-spec profile. The black top and back case components are in NORQAIN’s proprietary ultra-robust and ultra-light NORTEQ® carbon fibre material. This cage encloses the watch’s highly shock-resistant rubber middle section, which is coloured purple to match the watch’s rubber strap purple mesh insert and light purple dial detailing. In all, the watch weighs just 78 grammes, less than half the weight of the equivalent watch in stainless steel.

Closer in, the skeletonised dial reveals tantalising glimpses into the watch’s open-worked ruthenium black automatic mechanical movement, NORQAIN Calibre NB08S. This chronometer-certified time-only movement offers a 41-hour power reserve and comes finished with a personalised NORQAIN oscillating weight, visible through the watch’s scratch-resistant sapphire case back.

The Wild ONE Skeleton 42mm Purple Limited Edition is then finished with the signature NORQAIN plate. This is also made of NORTEQ® and is screwed into the left case flank. It can be personalised with an engraving of the customer’s choice.

To highlight the watch’s exclusivity, the words ‘LIMITED EDITION—ONE of 400’ are printed in a light purple on the sapphire-crystal case back. The black and purple rubber strap is available with either a black NORTEQ® pin buckle or a black DLC titanium folding clasp with a black NORTEQ® plate. The watch comes with a two-year warranty, extendable to three years with sign-up to the NORQAINER community. It will be available through NORQAIN’s website and global network of boutiques and retail partners.
