| In 1904, Louis Cartier created the first modern wristwatch for his friend Alberto Santos-Dumont, enabling him to read the time while flying. Since its relaunch, the Santos-Dumont watch has remained true to the elegance of the original model. The collection continues to explore slim designs and refined, sophisticated details, while preserving the purity of the design and the symmetrical lines inspired by Parisian geometric aesthetics — hallmarks that have made it a favorite among collectors. In response to the preferences of its collector clientele, the collection will now be expanded with an extra-large model crafted in yellow gold, as well as new yellow gold and yellow gold-and-steel versions, replacing the previous rose gold offering. |
