In 1868, a Boston watchmaking pioneer named Florentine Ariosto Jones sailed across the Atlantic to set up the International Watch Company on the bank of the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. His dream was to combine the modern manufacturing technology of the Americans with the unrivalled expertise of Swiss craftsmen to produce the best pocket watch movements of his time. 150 years on, IWC Schaffhausen remains true to the legacy of Jones. The company’s six watch families combine precision engineering with extraordinary and timeless design to bring unique emotions to its wearers’ wrists.
Legendary master watchmaker Kurt Klaus is working on the new Pallweber movement. By setting the date he magically travels through time and space, experiencing IWC’s iconic watch universes.
